Chicken Karahi – Restaurant Style

Chicken Karahi is a classic Pakistani dish cooked with fresh tomatoes and bold spices. Known for its rich aroma and spicy flavor, this recipe recreates restaurant-style chicken karahi at home.

Ingredients

  • Chicken (bone-in)

  • Cooking oil

  • Fresh tomatoes

  • Ginger-garlic paste

  • Karahi masala

  • Green chilies

  • Salt

Method

  1. Heat oil in a karahi or wok.

  2. Add chicken and cook until it changes color.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté briefly.

  4. Add tomatoes and cook until oil separates.

  5. Add karahi masala and green chilies.

  6. Cook on high heat for 3–4 minutes.

  7. Garnish with coriander and ginger. Serve with naan.
