Authentic Pakistani Nihari Recipe

Method

Heat oil in a heavy-bottom pot and sauté ginger-garlic paste until fragrant.

Add meat and cook until lightly browned.

Add Nihari masala and salt, mix well.

Pour in water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 4–5 hours until meat is tender.

Mix wheat flour with water to make a slurry and add slowly to thicken the gravy.
